SEAVIEW
Seaview provides services for seven young people of both sexes in a Residential Children's Home for those
who present with emotional and with behavioural difficulties, and for those currently in the Youth Justice System. The ages generally range from eleven up to
seventeen years (i.e. school leaving age).
We strive
at all times to maintain a homely and positive atmosphere
to allow our young people to explore the source of distress
in conditions which provide safety and an effective means
of re-negotiating their place within the family.
Our approach is based on individually prepared care plans primarily concerned with identifying need and devised programmes, which will actively support the child/young person in our care.
Each young person is appointed a keyworker who will ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met through counselling and practical guidance.
The Seaview staff team are available for support on a 365 days a
year, twenty four hours a day basis. |
